The red-lined blind snake is a virtually unknown species, described only from its type collection and having been unseen since. Furthermore, the holotype for the species has been lost and remnant information is not publicly accessible. In the information that could be accessed, this species is keyed out by having distinct supraocular scales that contact the supralabials, and coloration of five reddish and seven black dorsal stripes, uniform black belly, and small yellow blotches on the rostral scale and tail tip.

Prey: unknown, though likely ant and termite larvae
Lifespan and reproduction: lifespan unknown, likely under 10 years. Oviparous.
