This rainbow plant species is likely the easiest to grow of all the genus, though this form is quite uniquely different from the common version. Plants tend to be more slender and lanky with longer leaves, and very readily flush rich red unlike the mostly green or lightly purple-tinted standard form, and the flowers are borne on long pedicels and fairly small like the type, but a much, much deeper violet color more similar to an aquatica flower. They will self-pollinate without much help however (though crossing still recommended).
Packets contain approx. 18-20 seeds each; seeds may germinate just with soaking, but will sprout better with GA3 or smokewater treatment.
