One of two double-flowered larkspur that I have collected from the garden this year, both this and the electric blue version produce very lush foliage rosettes and short 1-2 foot spikes of big, 2+ inch blooms with extra frilly petals. This version is a rich violet with a white center. I am unsure if seeds will breed exactly true to type, but are not likely to have crossed as they flowered at separate times. Seeds may require cold stratification but plants will be cold-hardy and longer-lived perennials.
