Though now overshadowed by the sub-tropical cross I made with it, this was for a while the largest form of the species I grew, and the largest naturally occurring form I have. Plants may average around 2.5 inches in diameter, but can exceed 4, nearly stemless with pincushion rosettes of paddle-shaped leaves that tend to remain fairly green, but can blush slightly red under strong light. Flower stalks are moderately sized with small, white, self-pollinating blooms. This is a temperate plant, going dormant in winter and requiring cold stratification for seed germination.
Packets contain approx. 20-30 seeds each.
