A squat and rapidly growing version of this easy beginner's cross; plants average 1.5 inches in diameter or so, with spoon-shaped leaves in a flat rosette that will readily flush scarlet in good light. Flower stalks tend to remain under 8 inches tall, with a small number of bright pink flowers that will occasionally throw out a few seeds. These plants constantly bloom and divide, making thick colonies over time.
