Whether these are descended from the original wild plants or horticulturally reproduced, New Jersey is the origin of the first filiformis x intermedia natural hybrid records and thus these represent what the cross naturally looks like. Plants can reach almost 5 inches tall, with slender strap-shaped leaves bearing short petioles and lamina that are just a little wide at the tips than their bases. Color is typically green with red tentacles, though in strong light can flush with a red tinge throughout. Flowers are moderately large and pale pink.
Available plants are entering dormancy, may have leaves to 3" diameter or are in hibernacula. Further information can be found in the Database.
