A common Blazingstar species, forming clumps of stems with slender leaves about a foot high, before spiking during mid to late summer into two-foot plus plumes of bright purple feathery flower stalks. Very cold-hardy and generally quite easy to grow, forgiving of moist soils but doing well in drier areas.
Packets contain approx. 20-30+ seeds each.
