While I have had its relative laevicaulis (the Giant Blazingstar) available in seed form for a while, this species known as the Bractless Blazingstar is a Great Plains native (these seeds are collected from our property) and slightly more suited to midwestern climates but the same sandy soil preference. Generally biennial in nature, plants grow as flat rosettes of velcro-textured leaves in their first year to build energy, then spike into tall stems up to 3 feet high and branching in the second, topped with flowers up to 4 inches long that look like a white firework.
Packets will contain approx. 20+ seeds each.
