This tropical pitcher is another still uncommon species in trade, with a habit of producing fairly slender leaves and sometimes very long tendrils off which are produced lower pitchers up to 6 inches tall, usually slightly bulbous-ovate in the lower third to half and cylindrical above, narrowing at the mouth and sporting a thick round peristome. This clone has a mottled color of greenish to orange with thick red mottled blotches and a yellow peristome that ages to red. Uppers are much more simple, funnel-shaped to narrowly cylindric, and green to red-tinted.
