This species is endemic to central Palawan in the Philippines, closely related to N. mira though generally a smaller and more inclined to vine plant. Leaves can reach over a foot in length and blush reddish in good light, stems up to 12 feet in shady conditions. Pitchers are typically rather small but can reach 6 inches tall, lowers tubby and ovate and uppers similar but more funnel-shaped, with remnant wings on the front and a deeply incurved, toothy peristome. Color on this clone is a rich red-flushed yellow that accentuates the teeth.
Available rooted cutting is approx. 5 inches in diameter (shown in last image).
