First ever release of this seed-grown maxima. Palu sits on the junction between the central landmass and northern peninsula of Sulawesi; this clone from the region is likely the most vigorous of all of my four Palu plants, capable of developing vines more than 6 feet long in less than a year and with a maximum size of likely more than triple that if left alone. Leaves are broad on rosettes and slender on climbing vines, often blushing with red under good lighting; lower pitchers reach 6-8 inches tall and are slender and cylindrical with faint ghosts of red mottling over a cream-green background, offset by a slender, slightly folded peristome that ages to a deep rusty red. Upper pitchers are overall funnel-shaped and a brilliant lime green, almost chartreuse, roughly the same size as lowers but with a much more slender peristome and lid.
The available plant is a rooted basal cutting approx. 6 inches in diameter, developing a new pitcher presently.
