A terrestrial tropical orchid, this plant develops a small bulb-like structure and one to two ovular, fleshy leaves spotted or mottled in light and darker green, and when happy and subjected to slight seasons will occasionally produce a stalk that develops one to several inch-wide, white and pink flowers.
Like most orchids, these seeds will require some special treatment to germinate, either inoculated with mycorrhizae that will feed the seedlings or germinated in-vitro. Packets contain many hundreds of seeds.
