Known as the blue rabbit's-foot fern, this tropical semi-shade lover is not only very easy to care for...it also gets MASSIVE given the right conditions. Even the mother plant that I basically neglect in a corner of my room regularly develops fronds that reach more than 3 feet in length, young fronds often being a singular sword-shaped structure but mature ones splitting into multiple frondlets, all typically bright green but with a slight powdery wax coating that turns them a teal color. Rhizomes show the obvious source of the common name, being covered in brown fuzzy trichomes making it look like a small mammal's leg. Tossed into practically whatever sized pot in whatever decently moist, loose soil, it will grow in almost complete shade up to dappled sun.
Available plant has a 4 inch rhizome and fronds up to 16 inches in length.
