Averaging under an inch across though occasionally they can reach almost 2 inches, these small plants have very thin, curl-edged leaves with distinctive veining that can blush red especially in fully sun, and when fed well will produce a series of very slender stalks bearing tiny, self-pollinating flowers with purple tubes and white petals. Though an annual by nature, plants that are fed well can persist and continue blooming for several seasons.
