An iconic cultivar that produces pitchers up to 2 feet tall, slender but with a huge mildly ruffled lid and angular, jagged peristomes that start out coppery with deep red veins before aging to rich wine reds throughout that are often overlain with a slightly metallic look. This plant is decently cold-hardy, being one of the few that made it through an outdoor Colorado winter without a whole lot of slow-down, and in spring will produce bright pinkish flowers that while aren't particularly fertile, add to the visual appeal.
Three medium-sized divisions are available, along with one larger division (divisions shown in last image).
