Most likely a selfing, but could have possibly crossed with other flowers that were in bloom at the time. This is a small but very vigorous plant, that has proved more tolerant than any other rubra I've tried growing as it's the only one that hasn't been struck by rot or last winter's cold. Pitchers only reach up to about 7 inches tall, but are formed in dense masses of copper-red with slender lids. Flowers are characteristically small bright red things with a sweet scent.
Packets will contain approx. 30+ seeds each.
