One seed-grown juvenile of a famous member of the Yucca genus: the western Joshua Tree! Yes, this is the famed Mojave denizen that, despite being related to what are usually shorter shrubby things or single-stemmed columns elsewhere, instead develops into an impressive 20-30 foot high branching tree-mimic with a truly otherworldly appearance. These are very slow-growing plants with deep roots, to be grown outdoors in mild climates or in greenhouses in deep pots (or rooted into the ground) that may take 15-20 years to branch at 10-15 feet tall, may may live for more than 200 years altogether. Branching usually coincides with flowering too, spikes of cream-yellow, fleshy (and edible!) blooms.
Available plant is approximately 10 inches tall.

Yucca brevifolia
